For example, polypropylene (PP) is polymerized from propylene monomers, while propylene monomers are extracted from petroleum. It should be said that almost all monomers are extracted from petroleum. Extracted from petroleum, the others are polyethylene, ethylene, which can form polyethylene after polymerization. Form different plastics under different conditions as needed.

Currently, resin refers to polymers that have not yet been mixed with various additives. Resin accounts for approximately 40% to 100% of the total weight of plastic. The basic properties of plastics are mainly determined by the nature of resins, but additives also play an important role. Some plastics are basically composed of synthetic resins without or with little additives, such as organic glass, polystyrene, etc. The so-called plastic is actually a type of synthetic resin, similar in shape to pine resin in natural resins, but it is called plastic because it is synthesized through chemical forces.

As is well known, plastics are quite afraid of heat. When the temperature is too high, plastics may melt. However, there is a special type of plastic that can work at high temperatures, which is polyphenylene ether plastic raw material. This type of plastic can be used to make gears and some machine parts that can work at relatively high temperatures. What kind of special plastic is this. The main raw materials for plastic bags are polyethylene and polyvinyl chloride, both of which are non degradable; The main raw materials for producing plastic bags include polymer compounds such as polystyrene and polypropylene. After waste plastic packaging enters the environment, it is difficult to degrade and will cause long-term and deep-seated ecological and environmental problems. However, it should be noted that some waste plastic packaging materials mixed in the soil can affect the absorption of nutrients and water by crops, leading to a reduction in crop yield; Waste plastic packaging discarded on land or in water can be swallowed by animals as food, leading to animal death.
